reason #107 why we chose Hawke’s Bay to be our new home... J took me here a week ago and I’ve been back for a float 3 times since! 🙌🏼
Our last daily beach walk in our hood!
It’s all just hit me 😭 today is the sad end of our life in Auckland of 2yrs and the very exciting beginning of fam life in Hawke’s Bay 🙌🏼 It took me ages to feel at home here and what makes it hardest to leave is the absolutely qual friends who made it such a good time and you @gemscraig ❤️ Overwhelmed with love and the babe is yet to arrive!
Almost 36 weeks 😝 and having a great time!
We’ve been smothered with love from our fab friends and the babe is not too far away! 32 weeks 😝
Always a first time for a pic in my undies! Growing a baby and preparing for birth for me is all about empowering myself with knowledge, nourishing and nurturing my body as best as I can and surrounding myself with the loveliest of friends, my family and an epic support crew ❤️ I decided early on that I wanted to write my own story of the process and listen to positive stories - choosing not to prescribe to the fearful ones we’ve all been told.

Without adding to a list of “shoulds” I wanted to make a special mention to some resources and things I personally love!

@practicalparentingantenatal we loved this super real (auckland) course incl. practical tips and tools plus I loved the new parent relationship conversations!

Book: Real Food for Mother and Baby by Nina Planck is so helpful for simplifying nutrition needs!

Yoga! I’ve continued my practise and I’m starting Pregancy Yoga @goldenyogistudio next week which I’m excited for!
My chiropractor 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 aaand my positive birthing course starts in December!

Anyone in Auckland who’s pregnant or knows a gal who is - join me, @brittmcnabb and @livewellwith_corinne at our event The Bump Circle next Sunday 3 Nov @brthe.loft (see link in my bio for details and bookings) 😘
Hemp choc balls that are super satisfying and tasty!

I’m guilty if not always measuring my ingredients, I’ve made them so many times and they usually contain (approximately..) 2 tbsp coconut oil
6 medjool dates
2 tbsp cacao (or carob powder)
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup oats
1/4 shredded coconut
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp cinnamon
a pinch of salt
3 tbsp @thebrothersgreen_ hemp protein! (You can also use the whole hemp seeds)
Hemp is a complete protein and the best kind of plant based protein to add to salads, smoothies and balls like this! It’s also anti inflammatory and helps balance our hormones - including keeping our hunger hormone happy 😉

Instead of demolishing a bag of bought bliss balls and loading up on sugar - one of these is perfect for lasting energy!
A pregnancy event of a different kind!
For me pregnancy is a learn on the job kind of situation and I quickly realized all of our journeys are so different and that’s why connecting with others, is so helpful! So many things to consider, from food to mood to managing all the weird new things happening mentally and physically!

Together with two beautiful soon to be mamas and experts in their own fields @livewellwith_corinne and @brittmcnabb we’ve created - The Bump Circle - an event that combats pre-natal loneliness, building conscious, supportive connections. We will also share some self-love + nourishment hacks for the miracle that is your body - in all it’s shapes, sizes & colours!

Held at @brthe.loft in Parnell

We will start with a guided, calming meditation, and then dive into personal stories and an open question format. All guided conversations, will be navigated with a foundation of positivity!

If you are currently pregnant & are wanting to break away from the age old stories of how others believe pregnancy is or should be, and instead create & write your own story - this event is for you!

This is a one off intimate event so grab your spot before it fills up, by heading to the link in my bio ❤️ Know someone who might love this! Tag a gal x
Just over here growing a kid! 28 weeks right now and feeling mostly fab. I found out last week that my iron levels have shot from a record high that I was proud of, to conerningly low - you’re welcome little babe - explains why I’ve needed more naps!
Project- boost the iron intake and absorption - already has me feeling much better 🙌🏼
It’s birthday week and yes my bite size coaching program is still on offer!
